Maoists laid siege to the entire village late on Wednesday and killed Chatur Hembram and his son Arjun Hembram by slitting their throats in Tola Pahar village under Bongi Panchayat of far away Bihar.

Here Jamui district police of Bihar has reached Bhelwaghati police station in Giridih district at around 10 am on Thursday.

Jamui Police is preparing to go to the incident site with the police force and CRPF team from Bhelwaghati.

Due to the lack of direct connectivity of traffic, Jamui police can reach the spot only via Bhelwa Ghati.

The dead bodies of father and son are lying in the village itself. People are not going to the spot due to panic.

Three students were sent to jail for killing a girl alive, now compensation will be given after seven years.

The police of Chutia police station in Ranchi, who sent three innocent students to jail.

After fabricated a false story of a girl named Preeti, who was kidnapped and burnt after being murdered, will now get compensation of one lakh rupees each after seven years.

After the order of the State Human Rights Commission, now correspondence has been made to the Accountant General to give compensation to these students.

On February 15, 2014, a young woman named Preeti, a resident of Chutia, Ranchi, went missing.

On the very next day, the body of a young woman was found in a burnt condition near Manjhi Toli Pakki Road located in the Bundu police station area.

It was revealed in the post-mortem that after the murder of the girl, the criminals had burnt her. As the body was unknown, the police asked Preeti’s family members to identify her.

Preeti’s family members feared that it might be the dead body of her daughter, due to her height being almost the same.

The police, without conducting a DNA match, assumed that the body was of Preeti.

In this case, the police registered a case of murder and burning after kidnapping Preeti and sent three youths of Dhurva Ajit Kumar, Amarjeet Kumar, and Abhimanyu alias Monu to jail.

On May 15, 2014, Ranchi Police had also filed a charge sheet against the three in the case of kidnapping, gang rape and murder, and burning.

The youths kept denying that they had anything to do with the matter, but the police did not listen. Like police just had to close the file.
