Bilateral Relations Deteriorated Due To Wrong Actions Of China
Bilateral relations deteriorated due to the wrong actions of China: Indio-China Ties.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said – bilateral relations deteriorated due to wrong actions of China, our side is very clear.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said on Friday that bilateral relations between India and China have been affected due to Beijing’s activities to violate the agreements.
The External Affairs Minister said that India and China are going through a very bad phase with regard to their relations.
Beijing has done some such activities in violation of the agreements for which they do not have a clear answer.
China’s leadership should clarify where they ultimately want to take bilateral relations.
“I don’t think China has any doubts about what is wrong with our relations,” External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said at a symposium at the Bloomberg New Economic Forum in Singapore.
I have had several meetings with my counterpart Wang Yi.
We have no shortage of candor. China has heard it too. China has taken some such steps in violation of agreements for which they have no explanation.
In which direction China wants to take mutual relations, it is for them to answer.
It is worth mentioning that on May 5 last year, there was a standoff situation on the border in eastern Ladakh between the armies of India and China.
Not only this but there was also a violent clash between the armies of both the countries in the areas adjoining Pangang Lake.
Both countries had stationed thousands of their soldiers and weapons there. The tension between the two countries escalated after violent clashes in the Galwan Valley on June 15 last year.
However, after several rounds of military and diplomatic level talks, in August both the countries had agreed to withdraw troops from several points.
