BMW launches X7 facelift, competes with Audi and Volvo in petrol and diesel hybrids.

BMW X7 Facelift Launch: Luxury car manufacturer BMW has launched a new X7 facelift vehicle in India.

Introduced for both petrol and diesel models, retaining the xDrive40i petrol and xDrive40d diesel engines.

Additionally, this new vehicle is built on the M340i xDrive platform and comes with a number of updated features.

In India, the price of this car starts at Rs 1.22 crore while the diesel model goes up to Rs 1.25 crore.

BMW launches X7 facelift: The facelifted BMW X7.

In terms of appearance and design, the facelifted BMW X7 received a number of new features.

First, the update is noticeable on the front of the car, which includes a new grille and silver trim on the rear bumper.

In-vehicle lighting also includes separate LED headlights, LED DRLs near the hood line, and repurposed LED taillights. 20-inch alloy wheels and chrome strips give the vehicle a more premium look.

Two Engine Options.

The facelifted BMW X7 received the same powertrain for both petrol and diesel models. The car offers a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine and a 48-volt mild hybrid.

This engine can develop 380 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque.

On the other hand, the updated X7 xDrive30’s diesel engine with mild hybrid technology now produces 352 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque.

Transmission-wise, BMW has paired both engines with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of interior features, the new facelifted BMW X7 gets a new infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 14.9-inch touchscreen.

Its system was also equipped with iDrive 8 software. You’ll also see light bars, four-zone automatic climate control, ADAS technology, ventilated and heated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.

BMW X7 will compete with these cars.

The updated BMW X7 will compete against the Mercedes Benz GLS, Audi Q7, Volvo XC90, and Porsche Cayenne in its segment.
