BSF foils infiltration attempt on LoC, one Pakistani national arrested.
Indian security forces foiled another infiltration attempt from across the border in Jammu and Kashmir. An intruder crossing the Arnia border was arrested by the Border Security Force (BSF).
He is under interrogation. Officials said that the BSF saw Mohammad Shabad (45), a resident of Sialkot, trying to enter the Arnia sector from across the border.
To warn him, the BSF fired a few shots, then took him into custody. No objectionable material was found from Shabad.
Earlier, on August 25, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district, the BSF had foiled a major drug smuggling attempt by recovering 8 kg of heroin from a Pakistani intruder.

A few days ago, BSF personnel caught a Pakistani national trying to enter India from the Saadewala International Border in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. He was identified as Alam Khan, son Faizal Khan.
In the last few days, the Indian Army and BSF have foiled several infiltration attempts along the LoC.
On Thursday, 3 terrorists trying to infiltrate into Jammu and Kashmir from across the LoC were killed by the Indian Army.
The army had also released its video, in which it is seen that taking advantage of bad weather and dense forests, 3 terrorists are trying to enter the Uri sector from across the border.
All three were piled up by the Indian security forces on the LoC itself. A huge quantity of arms and war stores were recovered from the possession of the terrorists.

Earlier on the night of 22-23 August, 2 terrorists were killed during infiltration along the LoC in the Nowshera sector.
The terrorists had set foot on the landmines laid by the Indian Army on the LoC, due to which both were killed on the spot in the blast.
The video of this landmine blast was also captured in the thermal imaging camera installed on the LoC.
On August 21, Pakistani terrorist Tabrak Hussain was caught by the Indian Army after an encounter in the Nowshera sector.
