Canadian Police have arrested three people in the murder of pro-Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
Canadian Police have shared the photographs of the three accused. Apart from this, the police have also shared the picture of the car which was used by the accused just before killing Najjar.
India’s National Investigation Agency had declared Nijjar a terrorist in 2020. Hardeep Singh Nijjar was shot dead by assailants near a Gurudwara in Surrey in June 2023.
The Justin Trudeau government had blamed Indian agencies for Nijjar’s murder. However, the Indian government had called Canada’s claims baseless.
Canadian Police made 5 big revelations related to the accused.
1- The arrested accused have been identified as Karanpreet Singh, Kamalpreet Singh and Karan Brar. They are said to be citizens of Punjab and Haryana.
2- All of them came to Canada in 2021 on temporary and student visas but none had taken admission there for studies.
3- All these accused are said to be related to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. All three were arrested in Edmonton, Alberta.
4- A Canadian newspaper, quoting Canadian police, has claimed that the arrested accused was in contact with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
5- Canadian Police have not given any information regarding the motive behind the murder.
Notably, the policemen have not given any evidence of any connection with India. All three suspects were living in Canada on non-permanent resident permits.

At the same time, Nijjar was also accused of a bomb blast in a cinema hall in Punjab in 2007.
