CBI i.e. Central Bureau of Investigation conducted raids at five places in Delhi on Friday in a fraud case against a Delhi-based packaging company Reva Scans Pvt Ltd.

There is an allegation against this company for allegedly cheating a consortium of banks to the tune of Rs 69.33 crore, officials said.

In this, the bank alleged that there were serious irregularities in the finances of the company, such as misappropriation of funds, tampering with books, and forgery.

By doing so, the company defrauded banks of crores of rupees between 2011 and 2016.

After registering the FIR, the CBI raided the premises of the former directors of the company in Delhi.

The bank alleged that the company and its directors- Rakesh Bhatnagar, Bhavnesh Kumar Kanwar, Premnath Arora, and Anuradha Bhatnagar resorted to various fraudulent activities, causing a loss of Rs 69.33 crore to the banks.

Officials said the agency has registered a case against the accused of criminal conspiracy, cheating, and under provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Chinese citizens were staying illegally in Noida, arrested on suspicion of espionage on the Nepal border.

During the interrogation of two Chinese nationals arrested on suspicion of espionage from the Indo-Nepal border.

It has been found that they stayed illegally for 15 days at Jaypee Green Society in Gautam Buddha Nagar and a guest house in Gharbra village.

Police said that the investigation revealed that the Chinese asylum seeker was also staying in India illegally despite the expiry of his visa.

Police officials have constituted an inquiry committee to investigate the matter.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone III) Meenakshi Kalyanz told that Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Vishal Pandey has been asked to investigate the matter.

He said that it would also be ascertained whether there was any negligence on the part of the police.

It is noteworthy that on June 11, SSB caught two Chinese nationals- Lu Lang and To Yun Helang in the Sitamarhi area of ​​Bihar on the Indo-Nepal border.

According to the Noida Police, both these accused stayed at a guest house and JP Greens Society located in Gharbra, Greater Noida for 15 days.

Both were given shelter here by Chinese national Su-fi and his female friend Petekh Reno.
