Chennai Super Kings got relief after controversy, veteran batsman arrives in UAE to join the team: IPL 2020. Two South African players (Faf du Plessis and Lungi Angidi) have reached the UAE and will join the team after a week-long quarantine.

While 13 members of the team were found to be Corona positive, veteran batsman Suresh Raina surprised everyone by deciding to withdraw from the tournament. Raina returned to India after withdrawing his name from the IPL after a dispute with the team. There is good news for the Chennai team that former South Africa captain Faf du Plessis has arrived in the UAE to participate in the tournament.
