China Again Increased Deployment Along The LAC

China again increased deployment, meeting of Indian commanders amidst tension on the border, brainstorming on strategy.

Amidst the conflict on the border with China, the Indian Army has held an important meeting of commanders under the leadership of Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane.

The two-day meeting, starting Thursday, aims to assess threats to China and Pakistan along the border to improve the operational situation with these countries on the border and take important policy decisions.

Apart from the Chief of the Army Staff, all the Commanders, PSOs of Army Headquarters and other senior officers were present in this conference of Commanders.

The LAC of China’s People’s Liberation Army, the highest officer of the army, is to discuss the situation in the disputed sites of Gogra, Hot Springs, Demchok and Depsang in eastern Ladakh.

China has increased the deployment of military forces, ammunition and weapons in the Chinese sectors of western Ladakh.

Chinese interference has increased in the western (Ladakh), central (Uttarakhand, Himachal) and eastern (Sikkim, Arunachal) sectors along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

A year after the fierce conflict with Chinese soldiers in the Galvan Valley of Eastern Ladakh, China is still sitting on the LAC.

That is why India has also continued to prepare for any tough decision in future. There have been 11 rounds of talks between India and China to resolve the disputes.

While giving an indirect message to China, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has said that India is a worshiper of world peace.

But it is capable of giving a befitting reply to any aggression and any serious threat to peace in the border areas will have adverse effects.

Will be Dedicating 12 strategically important roads built by the Border Roads Organization (BRO) to the nation, Rajnath said, “We want world peace, but if someone shows us an aggressive approach, we will respond.”

The Defense Minister also said that the construction of new roads will not only improve connectivity but will also help in faster movement of troops along the International Border.

He said that the construction of these roads underlines the mantra of self-reliant India and they are part of Prime Minister Modi’s Act East policy.

The Defense Minister said that since 2013, the budget of BRO has increased manifold and today it is Rs.11 thousand crores. Since 2014, the BRO has developed a record 4,800 km of roads along the border.
