Court Directed CBI To Investigate Against Anil Deshmukh
Court directed CBI to investigate against Anil Deshmukh, the court said these things.
Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh will be probed for his role in the leak of the report that allegedly got a clean chit in the preliminary CBI probe.
Rouse Avenue Court has directed the investigating agency CBI for this. Special Judge Sanjeev Aggarwal said that the CBI is only accusing the occupants of the vehicle except the engine or the horse that pulls it.
The reality is that without being pulled by an engine or a horse, riding a cart would not have been possible.
The court said in the order that even though the CBI has not named Deshmukh as an accused in the charge sheet.
He could be the mastermind of the larger conspiracy as he would have benefited the most from the leak of the preliminary investigation material.
Significantly, the investigation into the allegations of extortion against Anil Deshmukh is going on.
The special court took note of the charge sheet filed against CBI sub-inspector Abhishek Tiwari, Deshmukh’s lawyer Anand Daga and Internet media manager Vaibhav Gajendra Tumane.
The charge sheet was filed for allegedly overturning the preliminary inquiry directed by the Bombay High Court against the former minister.
Accused persons can only be a means.
The special court said that the accused Anand Daga and Vaibhav Gajendra Tumane were associated with former minister Anil Deshmukh. It could also be that working together with him.
The accused persons can only be a means, as Deshmukh was the main beneficiary of the leak of preliminary investigation material.
Clearly, despite the fact that there is a lot of evidence, it seems that the CBI has made only those people accused, who are only the means. The mind holding the door or the mastermind has left the person.
To be thoroughly investigated:
The special court directed that the CBI should investigate the role of Anil Deshmukh in the present case with the utmost diligence, in a careful and time-bound manner.
The status report should also be filed within four weeks.
