Earthquake in Turkey: NDRF became an angel in Turkey and along with rescuing people, the Indian Army set up a field hospital.

After the Turkey Earthquake, death sites are everywhere. After thousands of people died in a building collapse, rescue efforts to rescue those buried under the rubble are continuing at a rapid pace.

Many countries have extended a helping hand to Turkey with India at the fore. The Indian Army and NDRF (Turkish NDRF) are doing their best to save people.

Five C-17s have already been deployed to India, with a focus on search and rescue and medical assistance. NDRF built a 30-bed hospital.

India’s Ambassador to Turkey Virendra Paul said 101 members of the NDRF team were conducting rescue operations in Gaziantep.

The Indian Army even set up a field hospital in Hatay province. The hospital is designed for 30 beds with two C-17 aircraft transporting medical personnel.

There is no information that Indians were trapped.

The ambassador said there are 3,000 Indians in Turkey, many of whom are not in the quake-hit areas and many have left.
