Encounter With Naxalites During A Search Operation In Bijapur

Encounter with Naxalites during a search operation in Bijapur, news of one dead and several injured. A joint party of police and security forces was on a search operation in the interiors of Bijapur for the last 4 consecutive days.

During this operation, Bijapur police have killed a Naxalite and many are reported injured.

Police and security forces are continuously running operations against Naxalites and they are ending fast. On the other hand, Naxalites are also surrendering continuously.

In the Bijapur district, security forces were searching for Naxalites inside the forest for the last four days. Meanwhile, an encounter took place.

Today the Naxalites got up from there and they left the ground and ran away. The body of a Naxalite has been recovered during an area search after the encounter. Several Naxalites were also injured in the incident.

Confirming the incident, Bijapur Superintendent of Police Kamalalochan Kashyap said that the presence of Naxalites was reported in the forests of Pidiya.

Based on this information, a joint party of police and security forces was on a search operation in the interior areas of Bijapur for the last 4 consecutive days. During this operation, Bijapur police got this success.

Police- A Naxalite was killed in a Naxalite encounter. Naxalites’ luggage and bloodstains have been found at the scene. It is estimated that several Naxalites have also been injured in the incident.

This encounter took place in the forests of Pedia. Seeing Naxalites security forces ambushed here and fired on them. After this, counter-firing started. Firing continued for a long time and, the Naxalites fled from there.

After inspecting the site of the incident, the body of a uniformed Naxalite was found there. Weapons and IEDs have also been recovered from the scene. In this operation, CRPF’s Cobra Battalion, DRG, and STF personnel were involved.
