He also inspected the corona vaccination camp being held at the Kodikkalpalayam Urban Government Primary Health Center next to Thiruvarur.
Health Minister MA Subramanian told reporters after the inspection that the 6th phase of corona vaccination camps is being held across Tamil Nadu.
As of 1.30 pm, more than 10 lakh civilians have been vaccinated. 500 corona vaccination camps are being held in the Thiruvarur district today. The target for the district is set at 50,000.
He also said that the reconstruction work of 8 crores 30 lakh rupees worth of health sector buildings in Thiruvarur district is scheduled to take place this year.
He further said that the required corona vaccines are available in Tamil Nadu. We are conducting the sixth phase of corona vaccination camps with sixty-six lakh vaccines.
