Travelers going to Mumbai from these states should be cautious, Maharashtra government implemented a new rule from November 25.

The administration has become more vigilant in view of cases of corona infection in Maharashtra.

RT-PCR test has been made mandatory for travelers coming to Mumbai by air and train from Delhi, Rajasthan, Goa, and Gujarat, they will be allowed to enter the state only when the corona reports arrive negative.

This rule has been implemented from 25 November.

Significantly, this rule has been implemented by Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar to curb the movement of people in view of the possibility of the second wave of Corona after Diwali.

Travelers from Delhi, Rajasthan, Goa, and Gujarat are arriving in Mumbai only after the RT-PCR test from today, Wednesday morning scenes at Dadar railway station.

RT-PCR report will be sought

The airline companies will demand an RT-PCR report before giving boarding passes to all passengers arriving in Mumbai by air travel and passengers will also be asked for their corona report at the railway station.

Only after seeing the report will be allowed to go out of the railway station. The screening will also be done at the border for passengers coming to Maharashtra by road and only then enter into the state will be allowed.

In case of any symptoms of corona in the passengers, they will have to go back or stay in the Covid Care Center till the report is done by getting the corona test done at their expense in Maharashtra.

Please tell that this month there has been a huge increase in Corona cases in Delhi, Goa, Rajasthan, and Gujarat.

Report not older than 72 hours

Passengers coming to Mumbai by air travel have to keep in mind that their RT PCR report is not more than 72 hours old. If a passenger does not have a report, then their sample will be tested at the airport itself.

The cost of this test will have to be borne by the traveler himself. If the report of a person comes positive, then action will be taken as per the protocol of the Government of Maharashtra.

Similarly, the RT PCR report of passengers arriving by Maharashtra by rail should not be more than 96 hours old.

Those who do not have a corona report will be screened at the railway station. If symptoms are found, the anti test will be done. On coming negative it will be allowed to go out of the railway station.
