Former Mumbai Police CommissionerParambir Singh was transferred from the post of Mumbai Police Commissioner on March 17 to the Director-General of Home Guards. He also took up this position on 18 March.

Two days ago, state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said in a discussion with a TV channel that Parambir’s transfer was not a normal administrative transfer. He has been removed from his post due to some serious lapses in his case.

In an eight-page letter to CM Uddhav Thackeray, Khin Parambir Singh told the whole story.

Disappointed with this allegation, Parambir Singh on Saturday wrote an eight-page letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, not only denying the Home Minister’s words in his relation but also sensationalizing the Home Minister’s recovery.

To confirm the allegation, he has also inserted excerpts from his WhatsApp chat to an officer. He says that the allegations can also be confirmed by the call details of Sachin Vazhe.

Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir also alleges that the Home Minister repeatedly ignored him and kept calling his subordinate officers to him and thus ordered him to recover.

According to Parambir, he has been constantly informing him about the orders received from his subordinate home minister.

Parambir has said in the letter that I have told these things to you (to the Chief Minister) and have informed Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and NCP President Sharad Pawar about this.

A copy of the letter was also sent to the Raj Bhavan.
