Government amended the sea travel allowance of Indian Navy personnel.
The Central Government has amended the Sea Travel Allowance for the personnel of the Indian Navy. This allowance is given in view of the risks and difficulties during deployment at sea.
Giving this information on Friday, the Defense Ministry said that this will further boost the resolve and morale of dedicated naval personnel who are posted in high-risk areas.
These naval anti-piracy operations, maritime security, and patrolling of the International Sea Line, protect the country’s maritime interests in the Indian Ocean.
The Ministry also said that it is also a fitting recognition of the services rendered by the men and women personnel of our Army in the year of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
However, the ministry did not specify how much the allowance has been increased.
India China Tension: China has deployed two dozen fighter aircraft in eastern Ladakh, India is closely monitoring every movement of Dragon
China is continuously increasing its strength in Eastern Ladakh. It has deployed over two dozen fighter aircraft at its Hotan Air Base near the eastern Ladakh sector.
This information has come to the fore when, two days ago, a top US military official called China’s increasing military build-up in the eastern Ladakh region worrying and eye-opening.
According to government sources, the Chinese Air Force has deployed 25 fighter aircraft at Hotan Air Base. These include J-11 and J-20 fighter planes
Earlier, China had deployed MiG-21 class fighter aircraft at this base. The aircraft that are now deployed are more modern and more capable.
Sources said that the Chinese Air Force is also building new airfields near the Indian border, which will enable it to carry out missions from very close range.
Sources also said that Indian intelligence agencies are keeping an eye on every activity of China. Along with Hotan Air Base, they also have an eye on other military bases.
US military officer General Charles A Flynn recently said that the level of activity continued by China is alarming.
He also described some of the infrastructure being built by China in the Western Theater Command as dangerous.
Significantly, Indian security agencies are keeping a close watch on the activities of the Chinese army. China’s air force extends from Ladakh in the north to Arunachal Pradesh in the northeast along the LAC.
Indian agencies are keeping a close watch on Hatan Air Base as well as PLAAF’s Gar Gunsa, Kashghar, Hoping, Dakonka Dzong, Linzhi, and Pangut airbases in Xinjiang and Tibet region.
