Grenade attack on CRPF personnel by terrorists in Noor Bagh area of Srinagar, no harm: Grenade Attack.
In Kashmir’s Noor Bagh area, militants fired grenades at CRPF jawans this morning. In this attack, CRPF soldiers were not harmed, however, a housing dog died due to the grenade.
Immediately after the attack, the CRPF personnel started searching for the terrorists throwing the grenade but the terrorists managed to escape from there.
As soon as the information was received, additional teams of SOG, Army, and CRPF personnel reached the spot. He has continued search operation in the area to search for terrorists.
Confirming the grenade attack, a police official said that militant organizations are now frustrated by the peacefully held district development council elections in Kashmir and the increasing participation of people at every stage.
They are now carrying out such attacks to keep the fear of people falling short. They are trying to restore their terror among the people by committing the crime somewhere.
The terrorists’ grenade attack at Singhpora in Pattan was similar. The attack was not to target the security forces but to target the common people. Six people including the woman were injured in this attack.
At around 6.30 this morning, the terrorists once again got a chance and attacked the grenade camp outside the camp of the soldiers of CRPF’s G-61 battalion in the Noor Bagh area of Srinagar.
The grenade thrown at the soldiers fell on the road some distance from the bunker and exploded with a loud bang. In this attack, there was no harm to the security forces but the stray dog present there died due to its grip.
The terrorists throwing the grenade escaped from the spot after getting a chance. Currently, security forces are searching the area to search for them.
Let us tell you that earlier in the evening late on Thursday, terrorists also attacked with grenades in the Nehama area of the Kulgam district of South Kashmir, targeting the joint team of police and CRPF.
There was no loss of life or property in this attack also. The entire area was cordoned off to nab the attackers and a search operation of security forces has been going on throughout the night here
