Hearing of Krishna Janmasthan case in Mathura on 30 September, demand for removal of royal Idgah. The demand to remove the royal Idgah adjoining the birthplace of Lord Krishna in Mathura city is gaining momentum.

The petition filed in this regard will be heard on September 30. Civil Judge Senior Division Chhaya Sharma has fixed September 30 for hearing in the case demanding removal of the Shahi Mosque near Sri Krishna’s birthplace in Mathura.

The agreement signed by Sri Krishna Janjaman, the place Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi and the claim made by the said people, on the land between the Sri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sangh (now known as Sri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan) and Shahi Idgah Mosque in 1968.

It was decided that the mosque will remain as much land as it is built.

Devotees termed the agreement between Sri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan and Shahi Idgah Management Committee five decades ago as invalid and demanded the removal of the mosque and hand over the entire land to the temple trust.

Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain on Friday filed a petition in the court of Mathura stating that the agreement reached between Sri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan and Shahi Idgah Management Committee in 1968 is completely wrong and contrary to the will of Lord Krishna and his devotees.

It should be canceled and the Idgah located in the temple premises be removed and the land be handed over to the temple trust.

On Friday, Ranjana Agnihotri and Tripurari Tripathi, resident of Lucknow, Rajesh Mani Tripathi of Siddharth Nagar and Pravesh Kumar, Karunesh Kumar Shukla and Shivaji Singh, residents of Delhi, denounced the granting of land to the royal Idgah Mosque in Sri Krishna’s birthplace complex in Mathura as a civil judge.

Here, advocate Vishnu Jain of eight litigants including Shri Krishna Virajaman told that the court has been asked to appear in the court on September 30.

We filed a claim in the Civil Judge Senior Division Court in Mathura in September demanding the removal of Shahi Masjid Idgah.
