India Is Administering 1.25 Crore Covid Vaccines In A Day: PM Modi

India is administering more vaccines in a day than the entire population of many countries: PM Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that India is administering 1.25 crore Covid vaccines daily, which is more than the population of many countries.

PM Modi said, ‘India is making a record by administering 1.25 crore vaccines in a day. The number of vaccines India is administering in a day is more than the entire population of many countries.

The success of India’s vaccination campaign is the result of the culmination of the hard work and valor of every Indian.

Let us inform you that the PM was interacting with the people on the completion of the Covid-19 vaccination campaign of the target population in Himachal Pradesh.

During this, he congratulated the people of Himachal.

The PM said through video conferencing that Himachal Pradesh has become the first state to provide the first dose of the Covid vaccine to all eligible people.

He said that this hill state has emerged as a ‘champion’ in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the biggest in 100 years.

During this, he said that Sikkim and Dadra, and Nagar Haveli have also achieved this target.

Let us tell you that India is rapidly vaccinating people to combat Corona. Last week, India made a record of more than 1.33 million vaccines being administered.

The introduction of more than one crore 33 lakh vaccines in a day is a sign of India’s commitment to combating Corona.

A record number of vaccines on Tuesday are also testifying to India’s growing capacity. This was the second time in a week that more than one crore vaccines were administered in India.

At the same time, 68 crores 75 lakh 41 thousand 762 corona vaccines have been administered in India so far.

The Center has asked 11 northeastern and hill states and union territories to focus on ensuring the second dose of anti-coronavirus vaccine to people above 60 years of age as the vaccination coverage in some of these states is not satisfactory.

You will be surprised to know that India has vaccinated more than G7 countries in August last month.

In August, India administered more than 180 million vaccines, which is more than the total number of vaccines in the G-7 countries. The G-7 is a grouping of the seven most developed countries in the world.

This includes Canada, Britain, Italy, Germany, France, the US, and Japan.

In August, out of these seven countries, Japan had the highest 40 million doses of the anti-corona vaccine.

After this 23 million doses were given in America, 13 million in France, 9 million in Germany, 8 million in Italy, 5 million in Britain, and 3 million in Canada.

If we add the dose imposed in August in these seven countries, then it totals 10.1 crores. Whereas, 18 crore doses were administered in India during this period.
