Earlier in August, India, and China had withdrawn troops from the Gogra Heights area and repatriated them to their permanent bases.

In the 12th round of military talks, India and China had agreed to move troops from patrol point 17A, which is one of the friction points between the two countries in the eastern Ladakh region.

It is noteworthy that on August 30, about a hundred Chinese soldiers crossed the borderline and entered Indian territory in Barahoti, Uttarakhand.

After coming inside for about five kilometers, the Chinese soldiers had returned from here.

According to reports, a bridge in the area was also damaged by Chinese troops while returning from the Indian border area. However, the security agencies had rubbished such reports.

Let us tell you that in eastern Ladakh, there has been a tussle between the armies of both countries since April 2020. It has been more than a year and a half but there is an atmosphere of tension here.
