Islamic fundamentalist injured female police officer in police station in France, two shot dead, suspected of terrorist incident.

In France, an Islamic fundamentalist entered a police station with a sharp-edged weapon and then shot and injured two policemen. The attacker was also killed in retaliatory firing.

The killed person was on the police watch list due to his hateful religious activities. He was suffering from a mental illness called schizophrenia.

Home Minister Gerald Dermanian has reported that the assailant killed was a 40-year-old French citizen. He was recently released from prison and was undergoing treatment for mental illness.

The three policemen injured in the attack are undergoing treatment at the hospital. All three are out of danger. The reason for the incident in Nantes, a suburb of the city of La Chapelle-Sar-André, is not yet clear.

But its terrorist incident has also not been ruled out.

Durmanian stated that the apparent purpose of the attacker was to attack the police. But the attacker’s connection with any terrorist organization has not been established in the investigation so far.

According to city mayor Fabrice Russell, the attacker entered the police station in the morning saying that he was having problems with a car.

Meanwhile, he reached out to the female policeman and took out his sharp-edged weapon and attacked him. The arms and legs of a female policeman were injured in the attack.

After this, the attacker ran away from there after taking the rifle of the woman policeman. Shortly thereafter, a campaign was launched to search for him.

Several helicopters and over 200 policemen tried to locate him at nearby places.

After a brief effort, the attacker was surrounded by a hiding place. When he was asked to surrender by laying down his arms, he started firing.

Two policemen were injured in the firing of the attacker. After this, the attacker was seriously injured in police retaliatory firing, he later succumbed.

In recent weeks, two policemen have been killed in France. One of these women policemen was killed with a sharp weapon in a terrorist incident inside a police station in Paris.
