Jammu Kashmir: DGP Dilbag Singh alerts security forces, says- Terrorists trying big crime. Director-General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh has directed the security forces to remain alert to deal with any emergency during the next fortnight.
During Eid, Rakshabandhan, August 5, Independence Day, terrorists and separatists will do everything possible to spoil the situation and carry out sensational violent incidents. In a high-level security meeting at the police headquarters, Director General of Police Dilbag Singh said that the next fortnight is about festivals and celebrations.

He will use various tactics to provoke the people, so the soldiers involved in the duty of maintaining law and order along with patrol parties, Naka parties, and counter-insurgency operations should be made aware of the situation.
Praised the security agencies
The Director-General of Police appreciated the police and other related security agencies for the successful conduct of counter-insurgency operations and maintaining law and order situation. We have to be constantly careful, a little carelessness will make all the hard work useless.
Security of all important establishments, sensitive places, religious places, security camps should be strengthened. Take appropriate steps to protect panchayat and civic representatives and those associated with mainstream politics. He emphasized on the proper use of bulletproof bunkers equipped with CCTV.
All officers should ensure that the soldiers on duty are always alert. He should have his weapon and should be wearing bulletproof jackets and slab. The state of law and order, cases related to terrorist incidents and other sensitive incidents should be recorded.
The teen reached POK, returned after six months
16-year-old Rais Ahmed returned home on Thursday, six months later, wandering on his way to his sister’s house in Chatkari (Kupwara) village of Karnah, bordering the Line of Control in northern Kashmir. The Teen was handed over to the family members in the presence of senior officers of Army and Kupwara district administration at the flag meeting on the Line of Control.
This flag meeting was held at LOC at Titwal on the foot-link connecting Jammu and Kashmir and Ghulam Kashmir at eleven in the morning.

Father Mohammad Yakub said that there was a ceremony at our house. I called the daughter and son-in-law in it. I sent the nobles to their house to invite them. My daughter lives in Chatkari village. This village is also on the LoC itself. As it was evening, my son lost his way and reached POK. There he was captured by Pakistani troops.
