Licensing of 19 private hospitals in Bengaluru. Licensing of 19 private hospitals in Bangalore South, Basavanagudi, Vijayanagar, Padmanabhanagar, BTM Layout, and Chikkapete has been canceled on a directive by Ashok, Minister of Revenue and Finance, Bangalore.

The state government has today suspended the licenses of 19 private hospitals in the Bangalore South region that did not provide 50 percent beds to the government as per the rules laid down by the state government during the coronation period.

Coronavirus has been increasing day by day in the state, especially in Bangalore. Providing appropriate treatment to those infected is critical. For this reason, the state government has ordered all private hospitals in the city to provide 50 percent beds. However, private hospitals did not follow this rule. Impact Coronation of bedding for patients is now a major headache for the government.

Thus, on the instructions of the Minister for Revenue Minister Ashok, who is at the forefront of Dhidir’s operation, the government has canceled the licenses of Basavanagudi, Vijayanagar, Padmanabhanagar, BTM Layout and 19 private hospitals in Chikkapeta.

In addition to the admission of public announcement banners in front of 19 private hospitals, complaints have also been lodged at the police station. The policy has indirectly warned that similar measures will be taken against the remaining private hospitals if the government does not comply with the directive in the future.

Meanwhile, 6,128 coronation cases were detected in the state in a single day on Thursday. This is the first time in Karnataka that the number of corona cases has crossed 6,000 borders. The total number of corona cases in the state has increased to 1.18 lakh.

83 people have died of the deadly coronavirus and the death toll has risen to 2,230. 3,793 patients were cured and discharged from the hospital. A total of 46,694 patients have been discharged from the hospital so far, according to the state Health Department Health Bulletin.
