Lashkar Terrorist Arrested In Bandipora, Two Kg Of RDX Seized

Lashkar terrorist arrested in Bandipora, a large cache of weapons including two kg of RDX seized.

Security forces on Wednesday arrested a local Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist in Nadihal, which falls under Bandipora in north Kashmir.

On his behest, a large cache of weapons and other equipment, including two kg of RDX, have also been confiscated.

The security forces got this success at a joint block put up by the police, army, and CRPF personnel in the Papchan area of ​​Bandipora. The arrested terrorist was passing through scooty number- JK15A-0839.

The soldiers posted at the block asked the scooty rider to stop, but he tried to run away. Naka party caught him and searched Scooty. He had hidden a grenade in the trunk under the seat of the scooty.

The soldiers arrested the scooty rider as soon as the grenade was found. He has been identified as Mehboob-ul-Inam alias Farhan and was active in Lashkar-e-Taiba sometime back.

During interrogation, he told that he used to work as an overground worker for Lashkar earlier. At the behest of his handler, he had made a hideout for the terrorists in his shop located in Nadihal.

On the spot of Mehboob-ul-Inam alias Farhan, the security forces searched the terrorist hideout in his shop.

They got three assault rifles, 10 magazines, 380 cartridges, three pouches, two YSMS sets, two cans of detonators, 26 chargeable pencil cells, one chargeable adapter, and two bottles of spray lubricant.

One matrix sheet, Pakistan-made nylon thread, 36 cans of high carbon balls, five bundles of wire to prepare the IED, five dairy milk chocolates made in Pakistan, and other paraphernalia.

During interrogation, Mehboob-ul-Inam told that the hideout made in his shop was used by Lashkar terrorists Haider alias Abu Muslim, Abu Ismail alias Faisal, Abu Hamza alias Aukasha and Gulzar alias Faizan.

These four terrorists have been killed in separate encounters with the security forces. At present, the interrogation of Mehboob-ul-Inam is on.
