Lord Venkateswara Temple In Jammu: Foundation Stone Laid
Lord Venkateswara Temple in Jammu: foundation stone laid today. The hour arrived, for which all the devotees of Lord Venkateswara were eagerly waiting.
The foundation stone for the construction of Lord Venkateswara temple is being laid today, the temple is going to be built in 62 acres in Majin village of Sidra, Jammu.
On Sunday, Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone will be laid for the establishment of the temple of Lord Venkateswara in Majin village of Sidra area of Jammu.
The Jammu district administration has completed all the preparations regarding this.
Union Minister of State for Home Reddy and Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh will also take part in Bhoomi Pujan
Union Minister of State for Home G. Kishan Reddy, Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office Dr. Jitendra Singh, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy will also be present on the occasion.
TTD Board President visited Mata Vaishno Devi before the foundation stone laying
TTD Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy visited Vaishno Devi on Saturday, a day before the Bhoomi Pujan for the establishment of a temple of Lord Venkateswara in Jammu and sought the blessings of the mother.
He was accompanied by TTD Board Executive Officer Jawahar Reddy.
It is noteworthy that the state government had allotted 25 hectares on April 1 for the construction of a temple of Lord Venkateswara in Majin village, located about 10 km from the autumn capital Jammu.
This land has been given on lease for 40 years. Tirumala will build Tirupati Devasthanam Temple, Veda Pathshala, Spiritual Center, residential facility and parking on this land.
It is also proposed to build health and education facilities on this land in the coming days. TTD will build the temple in two years along with the Vedic school and hospital.
At the same time, during the visit of Mata Vaishno Devi, YV Subba Reddy discussed religious tourism and activities of the Board in Jammu and Kashmir with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board CEO Ramesh Kumar and other officials.
Meanwhile, the officials concerned said that all the preparations related to land worship for the construction of the temple of Lord Venkateswara in Majin village have been completed.
Police and security forces have taken the area marked for the temple under their jurisdiction. Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy will reach Jammu from Delhi on Sunday itself to attend Bhoomi Pujan.
According to officials concerned, Union Minister of State for Home and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will also take stock of the overall security scenario in Jammu and Kashmir in a high-level meeting after participating in the Bhoomi Pujan for the proposed temple of Lord Venkateswara.
Senior administrative officers of police, central paramilitary force, central intelligence agency and state administration will also be present in this.
