Maha Shivratri: Harath puja of Kashmiri Pandits concluded with prayers of prosperity and peace in Jammu and Kashmir and wishes of Return of Kashmir Pandits back to Valley.
The harath puja started by the Kashmiri Pandits on Shivratri festival was completed in the early hours of Saturday. Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati were worshiped continuously for three nights.
In the morning, Kashmiri Pandits at their place of worship made an offering to God and wished for the prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.
At the same time, took out walnuts in the form of prasad soaked in the pot and now distributed it among the devotees.
The order of sharing this prasad will last for the next one month. On Saturday afternoon, Kashmiri Pandits will find the river, canal ghats, and flow flowers offered to Lord Shiva there.
In Kashmiri Pandits, harath puja is like a festival. It was Shri Ganesh on 10 March evening. Kashmiri Pandits had installed idols of Bhairon and other deities besides Lord Shiva, Parvati in their homes.
Maha Shivratri: The program of worship of Lord Shiva continued from five in the evening till three in the morning. In the end, enjoyment is offered to God.
