Naxal attack in Bijapur: A jawan missing in Naxalite attack is in possession of Naxalites, alert issued across the state.

The missing security force personnel are in the possession of the Naxalites after an encounter with Naxalites in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. Naxalites have claimed this by calling media persons.

They have said on the phone that they will not cause any harm to the jawan. However, there is a condition for his release. The news agency quoted CRPF sources as saying that there is a jawan missing in the Naxalite attack.

The possibility of his abduction by Naxalites cannot be ruled out. It is being told that the name of the missing jawan is Rajeshwar Singh Manhas. He is a resident of Jammu and Kashmir and is part of the Cobra Battalion.

The Naxalites called the journalists and placed a condition that they were willing to leave Rajeshwar Singh, but they would have to promise that they would not continue in the security force and would leave this job and do some other work.

During the encounter with Naxalites in Sukma, 21 jawans had gone missing. The bodies of 20 of them were found with the help of the Air Force on Sunday, while the search for a jawan Rajeshwar Singh is still going on.

It is difficult to say how right the Naxalites claim. If this is true then there is a possibility that the injured jawan may also have been taken with him after the encounter.

On the basis of intelligence input, all the districts of the Special Intelligent Bureau (SIB) Bastar division as well as all the districts bordering Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Odisha have been instructed to increase search and take extra vigilance.

Coal scam case: Supreme Court appoints two new judges in place of Bharat Parashar for trial

The Supreme Court on Monday appointed two new judges in place of Special Judge Bharat Parashar to complete the trial of the cases related to the coal scam.

In this order, the Supreme Court-appointed two judicial officers Arun Bhardwaj and Sanjay Bansal. In fact, the Delhi High Court was requested to replace the special judge Bharat Parashar with a new judge.

The Supreme Court took cognizance of a letter from the Registrar General of the Delhi High Court seeking permission to deploy or nominate any other appropriate Presiding Judicial Officer to replace Judge Parashar.

These cases are pending since 2014. Earlier, Special Judge Bharat Parashar was looking into these matters. He has heard about 40 cases and now two new judges are coming in his place.

The bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde considered the names of the five judicial officers as suggested by the Delhi High Court.

The Chief Justice said that all the judges are good. The bench also includes A S Bopanna and V Rama Subramanian (V Ramasubramanian).
