The nefarious conspiracies of terrorists have increased in Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence Day.
Two days ago, three soldiers were martyred in an encounter with terrorists. Now terrorists have carried out a grenade attack in Kulgam on Saturday.
According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, one police personnel has been martyred in this incident.
Giving information on Twitter, the Jammu and Kashmir Police said that the incident of grenade attack took place on Saturday night in Kaimoh of Kulgam.
Tahir Khan, a resident of Mendhar in Poonch, was injured in this terrorist incident. He was admitted to GMC Hospital in Anantnag but the policemen were martyred during treatment.
This grenade attack by terrorists has come at a time when security forces have intensified action against terrorists in the Valley and have conducted several encounters in the last few days.
On August 13, a CRPF jawan was injured in another grenade attack in Srinagar. CRPF jawans were injured when terrorists attacked them with a grenade near Idgah.
Although this grenade was not that powerful, the jawans were only slightly injured. After the attack, the security forces launched a search operation to nab the culprits.
Last week, an army camp in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district was attacked by two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists in a suicide attack, in which four jawans were killed.
Later, the security forces killed both the terrorists by firing. This attack on security forces is being carried out after several incidents of terrorists targeting civilians.
Earlier this week, terrorists shot dead a 19-year-old boy from Bihar, Mohammad Amrej, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
