Under the first phase of the scheme, 10 user agencies and 21 service providers will be connected to NetGrid. Around 950 organizations will be linked to it in subsequent phases.

These data sources will include immigration entry and exit information, bank and financial transactions, and phone calls. Reputed federal agencies of the country will have access to the NetGrid database.
