New BSF recruits are being given ‘rigorous training’ to fight terrorism.
The way Pakistan has opened training camps across the border to promote terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir under the guise of the ceasefire.
In view of this, the Border Security Force has also started giving rigorous training to its soldiers to face these enemies of the country.
In this special training of 44 weeks, the new recruits of the Border Security Force are being trained to thwart every nefarious conspiracy of the Pakistan Army.
The new recruits of the Border Security Force (BSF) receive advanced combat training at the Auxiliary Training Center (STC) to perform duties on the border and in counter-insurgency operations.
Pradeep Katyal, Inspector General, STC, BSF Udhampur, said about this training.
In view of the way Pakistan is giving military training along with cutting-edge training to terrorists across the border, we have also made a lot of changes in our training process.
The new recruits are given rigorous training to give a befitting reply to terrorism as BSF is the first line of defense for the country.
Our first duty is to ensure the security of borders. There can be no relaxation in this.
Inspector General Katyal said that in this 44-week training program, we give extensive training to the jawans so that they can fight in any area of the country, whether it is Rajasthan, J&K, Punjab, or the Northeast border.
The IG said that in the initial training of new recruits, they are also being taught to face threats like drones.
He said that since this is basic training, we provide the initial training like anti-drone measures and anti-tunnel measures to prevent any anti-national activities.
Let us tell you that the intelligence agency is continuously giving information to the BSF, Army, including the Defense Ministry.
ISI is giving military training to terrorists as well as training to carry out drone strikes in the training camps of terrorists operating in Pakistan.
More recently, it was also informed that 135 terrorists are trying to infiltrate into the Indian border at the launching pads built across the border.
