According to the information, raids are being conducted against people associated with JEI (Jamaat-e-Islami) in some parts of South Kashmir including Jammu and Kulgam (NIA Raid in Jammu-Kishtwar district).

At present, the Government of India has banned Jamaat-e-Islami. Islam is banned.

According to the order issued by Director General of Police RR Swain, Mohammad Usman has been posted as DSP Police Component Sopore and Mubashir Rasool has been posted in the 4th Battalion of the Indian Reserve Police (IRP).

Shaukat Ahmed Bhatt has been posted in the Police Control Room (PCR) in Srinagar.

Riyaz Ahmed in the State Investigation Agency (SIA) Jammu, Farz Hussain Shah in the 13 Battalion of Armed Police, and Zafar Mehndi in the 6 Battalion of Armed Police.

Mohammad Nawaz Khande has been made DSP Head Quarter Pulwama, Rohit Chadgal has been made DSP DAR Reasi and Khalid Ashraf has been made Police Component Anantnag.

Manoj Kumar has been made Police Component Bandipora, Qazi Muzaffar has been made DSP Security Kashmir University, Sohail Reshi has been made SDPO Tral, and Ajay Anand has been made DSP Headquarters Doda.

Latif Ahmed was posted to the 13th Battalion of Armed Police, and Ajaz Ahmed Shah was posted to the 9th Battalion of Armed Police. Deepak Tulsi has been posted as DSP CICE Jammu.
