He topped a total of 11 times in his career. For the longest time, he topped 102 weeks from 15 April 1996 to 29 March 1998. Djokovic said, “Pete has been my hero since childhood and so it is very special for me to get ahead of his record.”

Ivan Lendl in fourth place with 270 weeks

Grand Slam champion Djokovic reached the top spot for the fifth time in his career, which he started on February 3, 2020. In this order, Evan Lendl of America is fourth with 270 weeks and Jimmy Connors of America is at number five with 268 weeks.
