Vigilant BSF personnel deployed on the international border near Arnia, bordering Jammu, spotted the Pakistani drone late Saturday night.

According to information received from highly placed sources of police, BSF personnel posted on the border at 9.10 pm on Saturday night saw Pakistani drones approaching the Indian border.

Soon after, the soldiers also fired on the drone. A search operation has been launched in the areas around the border immediately after the incident.

An intensive search operation is going on in the areas around the border by BSF personnel on Sunday morning. This is not the first incident of Pakistani drones being seen in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir.

Even before this, on 20 November in the Samba sector, vigilant BSF personnel saw Pakistani drones flying near the border.

On 20 June, BSF personnel killed a Pakistani drone carrying weapons from Pakistan in the Hiranagar sector, which was recognized in the Indian border.
