PM Modi Inaugurated Awas Yojana’s Houses In Madhya Pradesh

PM Modi inaugurated Awas Yojana’s houses in Madhya Pradesh, says – now village will become a hotspot of business. PM Modi inaugurated 1.75 lakh houses built in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday under PM Awas Yojana (Rural) and wished people to enter their new homes.

Prime Minister interacted with the beneficiaries through video conferencing and also informed them about the new house. During this, he also gave a message to people to be vigilant about the coronavirus. Giving the mantra, he said that there is no laxity unless there is medicine.

Implement the plan with new thinking

The PM said that in 2014, after studying the old experiences, the old plan was first reformed, and then the scheme was implemented with whole new thinking in the form of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. In this, transparency was given priority from beneficiary selection to home entry.

He further said that earlier the poor used to run after the government, now the government is going to the people. Now the name cannot be added or reduced in the list as per one’s wish. Scientific and transparent methods are being adopted from selection to manufacturing.

Best wishes to the beneficiaries

Talking to the beneficiaries, PM Modi said that I just had a discussion with such colleagues, who have got their pucca house today, have found their dream home. Now, I congratulate 2 lakh families of Madhya Pradesh, who are entering their homes today.

Dialogue of beneficiaries in a funny and friendly manner

PM Modi is interacting with the beneficiaries in a very funny and friendly manner. Talking to PM Modi, a resident of a village in Madhya Pradesh, said that with the help of the government, I have got a pucca house.  He said that the girl died due to a snake bite due to a raw house.

During this, PM Modi said that the goal of this scheme is also to empower our sisters. During the interaction with the stakeholders, one beneficiary Gulab Singh said that he had received the help of Rs one lakh 20 thousand under the PM Awas Yojana and also got 16 thousand rupees for daily wages and the rest of the brothers helped us with this initiative of the government.

PM Modi said on Friday that this is an important step to achieve the goal of providing houses to the poor by 2022. He had tweeted that this is another important step to achieve the goal of giving a home to every family in the country by 2022.  These houses built under PM Awas Yojana-Gramin are proof that even the Corona epidemic did not stop development work.

For information, PMAY is a Government of India housing initiative launched in 2015 to provide affordable housing to the urban and rural poor. PMAY aims to build two crore affordable homes by March 2022.

What is Prime Minister Housing Development Scheme

Explain that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, houses will be given to those poor families who either do not have any houses or who live in kutcha houses and huts. Under this scheme, Rs. 1 lakh 20 thousand is provided to each beneficiary.

Which the Center and State spend in the ratio of 60:40. With this, the beneficiary can take advantage of the scheme by applying an additional amount according to his plan.
