4. Ginger – 1 inch piece, grated
5. Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons
6. Asafoetida – a pinch
7. Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
8. Mustard seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
9. Red chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon (according to taste)
10. Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
11. Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
12. Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon
13. Salt – according to taste
14. Mustard oil – 3-4 tablespoons

Method of making potato pickle
1. To make potato pickles, first heat mustard oil in a pan.
2. Then add asafoetida, cumin seeds, and mustard seeds to it. When it starts crackling, add chopped onion and green chilies to it.
3. After this, fry all the things till they turn golden.
4. Now add ginger, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala and mix well.
5. After this, put boiled and peeled potatoes in the pan and mix all the ingredients well.
