President Ram Nath Kovind Honored 29 Women On Women’s Day

President Ram Nath Kovind honored 29 women with Nari Shakti Puraskar on International Women’s Day: International Women’s Day 2022.

International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on 8 March. On this occasion, the achievements of women in the country and the world are celebrated.

On this occasion, President Ram Nath Kovind presented the Nari Shakti Puraskar to those women in Rashtrapati Bhavan, who have given contributions in cultural, political, social, economic, and other fields.

Let us tell you that Nari Shakti Puraskar 2022 is an initiative of the Government of India, under which women are rewarded by the Government of India.

President Ram Nath Kovind honored Women

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, President Ram Nath Kovind awarded Nari Shakti Puraskar to 29 women who have done exemplary and outstanding work in various fields.

In a special ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, the President honored these women by presenting them with awards.

Anita Gupta.

President Kovind presented the Nari Shakti Puraskar to Anita Gupta for her contribution to empowering rural and underprivileged women.

Anita Gupta is a social entrepreneur from Bhojpur, Bihar who has trained more than 50 thousand underprivileged rural women in various skills.

Aarti Rana.

President Kovind presented the Nari Shakti Puraskar to Aarti Rana. Aarti Rana is a handloom weaver and teacher from Kheri, Uttar Pradesh.

She has trained over 800 Tharu women in the craft and established 150 women,’s self-help groups, thereby increasing the income of tribal weaving women.

International Women’s Day 2022: Union Ministers Smriti Irani and Bhupendra Yadav participated in the distribution program of AYUSH kits.

International Women’s Day is being celebrated all over the world today. On this occasion in the country, a program of honoring women is going on at various places.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi and Women’s Day, Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav and Union Minister Smriti Irani appeared together on one stage.

They took part in the health and nutrition check-up of women brick kiln workers and beedi workers, together with the distribution program of health supplements and AYUSH kits.

During the program, Union Minister Smriti Irani said on Women’s Day, ‘On the occasion of International Women’s Day, on behalf of all the women present here. I wish all the women a very Happy International Women’s Day
