Production Of Drugs Required For Covaxin Will Start From June

Production of drugs required for covaxin will start from June, IILs of Hyderabad gave information.

The production of the drugs required for the Covid-19 vaccine ‘Covaxine’ will start from June 15 and by July its first consignment will be given to Bharat Biotech.

This information was given by the firm IIL under the National Dairy Development Board, which has been selected under the mission COVID protection to increase vaccine production in the country.

In fact, Bharat Biotech has partnered with IIL to make the medicines required for covaxine.

IILs managing director K Anand Kumar said in a statement released on Friday that the firm expects to initially produce 2-3 million doses each month. It will later be reduced to 7-15 million.

Coronavirus Vaccination in India: So far 20.86 crore doses of vaccine have been administered across the country.

In the vaccination campaign against Coronavirus, a total of 20.86 crore doses have been given in the country till 7 pm on Friday evening.

On the 133rd day of the campaign, 2,80,7411 doses were given, including the first 25.25 lakh beneficiaries and the second dose to 2.07 lakh beneficiaries.

The Union Health Ministry said that 13,36,309 people in the age group of 18-44 were among the beneficiaries who got vaccinated on Friday.

Apart from this, the beneficiaries include health workers (HCWs), frontline workers (FLWs), people aged 45–60 years and above 60 years.

India is getting help from Singapore in the fight against Corona.

India’s High Commissioner in Singapore, P. Kumaran, said that Singapore is proving to be very useful in supplying medical devices that support the corona epidemic, including oxygen and cylinders.

The Singapore government keeps getting information about who gets medical equipment and who needs to be contacted for it.

Kenya helps India with 12 tonnes of food products.

Kenya has given 12 tonnes of food products to India as corona relief. This includes tea, coffee, and peanuts, which are extensively produced there.

Kenya has provided this help through the Indian Red Cross Society. These will be distributed along with food items in Maharashtra.

Bash India helped in the fight against Corona.

Vehicle parts company Bash India on Friday said it has provided medical assistance worth eight crore rupees to the NITI Aayog to help fight the second wave of the corona epidemic.

This includes 92 ventilators, 438 oxygen concentrators, 10 oxygen cylinders, face masks, etc.
