Quick and Crispy Bread Rolls Recipe: Ingredients
- Bread: 1 loaf or 8-10 slices
- Milk: 1 cup
- Egg: 1
- Sugar: 2-3 tablespoons
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Butter or ghee: 2 tablespoons (melted)
- Cinnamon: 1/2 teaspoon (powder)
- Raisins: 1/4 cup (washed)
- Walnuts: 1/4 cup (finely chopped)
- Cream: for garnishing
Method:
- Break the bread into small pieces before making bread rolls.
- After this, add milk, egg, sugar, salt, melted butter or ghee, cinnamon, raisins, and walnuts in a large bowl and mix well.
- Then add the bread pieces to this mixture and mix well, making sure that they are completely soaked in the mixture.
- Keep this mixture covered for 15-20 minutes so that the bread pieces absorb the mixture.
- Lift parchment paper on a baking tray. Spread this mixture in a long rectangular shape. Then roll it gently.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius in a preheated oven.
- Allow the roll to cool slightly after baking, then top with cream.
