Ingredients: Quick & Delicious Halwai-Style Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe

  1. Carrot – 500 grams (grated)
  2. Full cream milk – half kilo
  3. Ghee – 4 tablespoons
  4. Mawa – 100 grams (grated)
  5. Cashews, almonds, pistachios – chopped
  6. Raisins – 1 tablespoon
  7. Sugar – according to taste
  8. Cardamom powder – 1/2 teaspoon

Method:

  1. To make Halwai style carrot halwa, wash and peel the carrots and grate them.
  2. Now heat ghee in a deep pan. Add grated carrots and fry them on medium flame for 10-15 minutes, so that the rawness of the carrots goes away.
  3. After the carrots are fried, add milk to them and let them cook on a low flame. Keep stirring in between.
  4. When the milk is completely absorbed in the carrots, add sugar as per taste and mix well. Keep cooking the carrot halwa on low flame so the sugar dissolves and the halwa thickens.
  5. When the halwa thickens, add mawa (khoya) and cardamom powder to it. Mix the mawa well and fry the halwa for a few minutes.
  6. Now add chopped cashews, almonds, pistachios, and raisins and mix well. After this add some more ghee and keep stirring the halwa for 10 minutes.
  7. Turn off the gas after the halwa is cooked.
  8. Hot Halwai-style carrot halwa is ready. Garnish it and serve. https://digitalamitkaul.online/winter-warmth-in-a-bowl-delicious-soups-to-keep-you-cozy-this-season/
