Ingredients: Quick Palak Chicken Recipe
- Spinach: 250 grams
- Chicken: half kilo
- Onion: 2 large size finely chopped
- Tomatoes: 2 medium size
- Ginger garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala: 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
- Green chili: finely chopped as per taste
- Curd: 2 tablespoons
- Oil: five tablespoons
- Salt: as per taste
- Fresh cream: 1 tablespoon
- Coriander leaves: for garnishing
Method:
- Wash the spinach thoroughly and boil it. Once it has cooled, grind it in a mixer to create a paste.
- On the other hand, marinate the chicken by mixing ginger-garlic paste, curd, turmeric, and a little salt for 30 minutes.
- After the chicken is marinated, heat oil in a pan add chopped onion, and fry till it turns golden brown. Add the ginger-garlic paste now, and simmer well.
- Next, add the turmeric, coriander powder, tomatoes, red chili powder, and salt. Add the spices and simmer until the oil is gone.
- Cook over low heat, adding the chicken halfway through. When the chicken is halfway done, add the spinach paste and garam masala.
- Mix it well and cook for another 10 minutes. When the spinach chicken is ready, garnish it with fresh cream and coriander. Hot spinach chicken can be served with roti, paratha, or rice.
