Samsung Electronics on Friday introduced a new model of its Galaxy Book laptop series. Actually, the company wants to increase the speed of personal computer (PC) sales. For this, the company is introducing new laptops.
In the era of Coronavirus, people are working from home, due to which the demand for laptops is registering a boom. In such a situation, the Samsung company is looking to take advantage of this opportunity.
On behalf of Samsung, it was said that on January 1, 2020, it will launch Galaxy Book Flex2, Galaxy Book Flex2 5G, and Galaxy Book Ion2 in the South Korean market.
Expected Price and Specifications
All these 3 unique laptops will be available for pre-booking in Korea from next Monday to 31 December 2020. All these laptops will work on Intel Corp.’s 11th generation processor.
The Galaxy Book Flex2 will be a two-in-one product that can be used on both laptops and tablets. This laptop will be available for sale in two screen sizes of 13.3 inches and 15.6 inches.
Nvidia’s GeForce MX450 graphics card will be supported in this. It has been told by Samsung that the Galaxy Book Flex2 can be sold between Rs 1.25 lakh to Rs 1.90 lakh.
The price of the laptop will vary according to different variants.
Samsung Notebook Plus2 Laptop
Galaxy Book Flex2 5G will get 5G network support. The screen of this laptop will be 13.3 inches. The same price will be between Rs 1,80 lakh.
Galaxy Book Ion2 laptops will also come in 13.3 inches and 15.6-inch size screens. It will weigh only 970 grams. Depending on the same storage variant, the price will be between Rs 92 thousand to Rs 1.60 lakh.
Notebook Plus2 laptop has been introduced by Samsung, which users will be able to customize according to their own.
The user will have the convenience that the memory, capacity of the hard disk drive can be increased according to the requirement of the laptop.
This laptop will come in a 15.6-inch screen size. It will cost around 50 thousand rupees. According to a report by market research firm IDC, laptop sales in South Korea in the third quarter of 2020 stood at 6.45 lakh units.
This figure is 29.5 percent higher than last year’s sales. The quarter saw sales of about 64,000 convertible laptops, an increase of 82.3 percent over the previous year.
