Schalke opens an account at Bundishliga after Manchester City ties up with Messi. English football club Manchester City have not given up hope of Barcelona striker Leon Messi joining their club.
The City manager Pep Guardiola wants to bring Messi to the club under the transfer window in January.
According to a report, Messi’s contract with Argentina is with Barcelona till this season and he is free to join any club next season.
Manchester City Chief Football Operations Manager Omar Berada said that we have the financial resources to make it happen with Messi.
However, other clubs are also keen on an agreement with Messi, including Paris St Germain, Manchester United, and Chelsea. It all depends on Messi which new club he chooses or the new agreement with Barcelona.
Cologne, Schalke opened digit account in Bundesliga
