Let us tell you that Mahinda Rajapaksa has said many times in the past that if his resignation is the only solution to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, then he is ready to do so.

Violent clashes in Colombo, 20 injured.

Meanwhile, in the capital Colombo, today the supporters of the ruling party attacked the people opposing the government.

There have also been reports of government supporters clashing with the police, after which the police fired tear gas shells at them and water canners.

It is worth noting that in the midst of the country’s worst financial crisis since independence, the common people are protesting against President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

Protesters attacked with iron sticks, curfew was imposed.

On Monday, hundreds of supporters of the ruling party held a rally outside the official residence of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Government supporters attacked protesters with iron sticks at the Gota Go Gama protest site.

This is the first clash between pro-government and anti-government people since nationwide protests began in late March. At least 20 people have been seriously injured in this clash.

At the same time, paramilitary forces have been deployed in the area of ​​the clash and a curfew has been imposed in the western province of Sri Lanka, which includes Colombo.
