Security forces have started a high-level inquiry into Rajouri Blasts. Expert teams of army and police engaged in gathering clues of blasts.

Security forces have started a high-level inquiry into the blasts at Kotranka sub-divisional headquarters late on Saturday evening.

A preliminary investigation is expected to yield some clues. The blast site falls under the responsibility of the Romeo Force of the army.

Several high-level teams of intelligence agencies visited the blast site late Saturday evening and reviewed the impact.

Experts from both the military and police, including special bomb disposal squads camping at the blast site, are investigating.

These two explosions took place on Saturday between 08:15 and 08:30, the sites of these two explosions are at a distance of twenty meters from each other.

The main market is located at Kotranka, about a hundred meters from Thana Kandi.

Sources said that the double blast incident has been taken seriously by the security forces and a high-level investigation is going on.

After the incident, the police have registered a case at Kandi police station.

The investigation of the case is being supervised by SSP Rajouri Muhammad Aslam and senior officers are being continuously informed about the investigation.

Significantly, after these double blasts on Saturday, the Jammu and Kashmir Police said in a statement that these two blasts were of low intensity which was in the city of Kotranka. There has been no loss of life or property in them.

Man wearing Khan suit kept explosives at both the places.

According to sources, in the investigation of both the blasts near the police station in Kotranka market late on Saturday evening, one thing is emerging a person wearing a Khan suit kept explosives at both places.

A person wearing a Khan suit, brought explosives in both the envelopes and after keeping it at the designated place, fled from there and had timer devices fitted in both the blasts.

Evidence of timer devices has also been found in the hands of the security forces in the investigation.

Now the security agencies are busy checking the footage of CCTV installed in the market so that it can be found out who is the person wearing the Khan suit and keeping the explosives.
