Sikh Community Expressed Gratitude To PM Narendra Modi
Sikh community expressed gratitude to PM Modi for bringing the form of Guru Granth Sahib from Afghanistan.
Members of the Sikh community in Bhopal on Thursday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.
They have expressed their gratitude for bringing back three sacred forms of the Guru Granth Sahib from Afghanistan after the Taliban’s occupation.
Along with this, they also thanked the Government of India for the safe return of Sikh and Hindu families from the war-torn country.
Speaking to the leading media agency, a member of Gurdwara Singh Sabha in Bhopal’s Arera Colony said.
‘The entire Sikh community thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri for the safe return of Sikh and Hindu families.
Simultaneously, Shukrana ki Ardas was also organized in Gurdwaras of Jammu, Kanpur, Shimla, and Amritsar for the safe return of remaining Sikh and Hindu families stranded in Afghanistan.
Let us inform you that three forms of Guru Granth Sahib from one of Kabul in Afghanistan and two from Gurdwaras in Jalalabad were brought back from Afghanistan by Indian Air Force aircraft from Kabul on Tuesday.
There were 75 people on board the plane.
The three holy forms were first brought from Kabul to Dushanbe and then from there, they were brought to New Delhi by special aircraft.
After the plane landed at Delhi airport, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and BJP’s National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam brought the holy forms from the plane to the VIP lounge of the airport with full devotion.
A large number of people gathered outside the VIP lounge here to have a darshan of the holy form. From here the holy forms were kept in the palanquin sahib amidst the rain of flowers.
Then the holy forms were installed on the Palki Sahib with complete rituals by bringing them to Guru Arjun Dev Gurdwara in Delhi.
