Stock Market Opening: Sensex again crosses 57 thousand after two months, Nifty also above 17 thousand, big jump of the market.
The Indian stock market is moving towards a steady rise, leaving behind all the speculations.
On Friday, the Sensex jumped more than 500 points and crossed the 57 thousand mark again after almost two months. Nifty also went above 17 thousand today.
The Sensex opened with a gain of 400 points in the morning at 57,258 and started trading, while the Nifty rose 150 points to open at 17,080 and started trading.
Investors maintained a buying trend from the beginning today and due to continuous investment, the Sensex rose 557 points to 57,411 at 9.30 am, while the Nifty gained 173 points to trade at 17,104.
Investors bet on companies like Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv, Power Grid, Titan, M&M, L&T, Wipro, Nestle, SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Life, and Eicher Motors from the beginning today.
These stocks gained up to 2 percent due to continuous buying and they entered the list of top gainers.
On the other hand, stocks like Dr. Reddy’s and Sun Pharma are under pressure today and are showing a decline of 4 percent due to continuous selling.
Apart from this, Cipla and Divi’s Labs are also showing a decline of 1 percent. BSE Midcap and Smallcap are also bullish today and a gain of 0.9 percent is visible here.
Stock Market Opening: Sensex again crosses 57 thousand- Leading Auto-IT Sector.
Looking at today’s business sector-wise, Nifty Auto, IT and Metal sectors are leading the market. These stocks are showing a gain of more than 1 percent.
There is also a sharp jump in the realty index today, while the stocks of pharma are under pressure and this index is trading at a decline of 0.9 percent.
The shares of Westlife Development are seeing a rise of more than 6 percent this morning.
Asian markets also shine.
Most of the stock markets of Asia opened on the rise this morning and are trading on the green mark.
The Singapore Stock Exchange is trading at a gain of 0.96 percent today, while Japan’s Nikkei is up 0.27 percent.
Apart from this, South Korea’s Kospi is also trading at a jump of 0.73 percent. However, today the Shanghai Composite is seeing a loss of 0.04 percent.
