Shopian Encounter: 21-day-old terrorist killed in Shopian’s Rakhma encounter, search operation continues.
A 21-day-old terrorist was killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in the Rakhma area of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday morning.
The terrorist has been identified as Mujeeb Lone. He was a resident of Redwani Kulgam and became a terrorist on 9 September itself.
The security forces had received information about the presence of two to three terrorists in the area.
In such a situation, even after the terrorist was killed, the security forces continued their search operation in the surrounding area.
Two terrorists were killed in Bandipora.
Just four days ago, on Sunday, two terrorists, including the commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba, were killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in the Watnira area of Bandipora in North Kashmir.
Both the slain terrorists killed BJP leader Sheikh Wasim Bari, his brother Umar Sultan and his father Bashir Ahmed Sheikh on 8 July 2020.
Shopian Encounter: 21-day-old terrorist killed. The two terrorists killed were identified as Azad Shah and Abid Haqqani.
Terrorist Abid was the district commander of the Lashkar-e-Taiba organization while terrorist Azad was involved in the killing of BJP leaders.
A huge quantity of arms and ammunition were recovered from the possession of these terrorists.

According to the police, Dulla alias Jameel, a resident of Arnas in Reasi, is the third former terrorist arrested by the police in Kishtwar in the last 11 days.
The police had received information about this, after which raided and arrested Dulla.
