TCS Benefited The Most By Increasing The Market Capitalization
TCS benefited the most by increasing the market capitalization of 8 of the top 10 companies by Rs 1.45 lakh crore, last week.
The market capitalization (M-cap) of eight of the top 10 companies of the Sensex increased by Rs 1,45,194.57 crore last week. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) benefited the most among them.
The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensitive Index Sensex gained 3.49 percent or 1,308.39 points in the previous week. Last week, TCS’s m-cap increased by Rs 37,692.7 crore to Rs 9,46,632.85 crore.
HDFC Bank’s market capitalization increased by Rs 34,425.67 crore last week, bringing it to Rs 6,09,039.90 crore. At the same time, HDFC’s M-Cap increased by Rs 25,091.57 crore last week, bringing it to Rs 3,21,430.66 crore.
Talking about Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), its market capitalization increased by Rs 15,789.36 crore last week, taking it to Rs 15,04,587.18 crore.
ICICI Bank’s market capitalization rose by Rs 14,244.15 crore last week to Rs 2,54,574.08 crore. In addition, Kotak Mahindra Bank’s market capitalization rose by Rs 11,053.88 crore to Rs 2,58,346 crore last week.
Talking about Hindustan Unilever (HUL), it’s market capitalization increased by Rs 4,064.73 crore last week, bringing it to Rs 4,92,243.78 crore. Infosys’ market capitalization also increased by Rs 2,832.51 crore last week, bringing it to Rs 4,33,480.32 crore.
At the same time, the market capitalization of two of the top 10 companies declined last week. Bharti Airtel’s market capitalization declined by Rs 4,009.84 crore last week to Rs 2,35,871.02 crore.
Apart from this, HCL Technologies’ M-cap declined by Rs 4,002.66 crore last week, bringing it to Rs 2,20,553.13 crore.
In this way, Reliance Industries ranked first in the list of top-10 companies in the country last week. It was followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, HUL, Infosys, HDFC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, and HCL Technologies respectively.
