Official sources said that the encounter between security forces and militants has been going on for the last 12 hours in the Charar-e-Sharif area of ​​Budgam in Jammu and Kashmir.

On Monday evening, security forces surrounded the Charar-e-Sharif area and were searching for the terrorists after receiving information about the hiding of some terrorists in the area. Meanwhile, one has been piled in the encounter.

According to the information, there was an encounter between security forces and militants in the Cherrar-e-Sharif area of ​​Budgam in Jammu and Kashmir. During this time a military man was injured. Here, militants attacked a CRPF patrol on Monday in Naugam, the outskirts of Srinagar city. When the soldiers retaliated, the terrorists fled after saving their lives. Meanwhile, two militants of al-Badr have been arrested with weapons in Sopore of Baramulla district in North Kashmir.

In Srinagar, a team of 110 CRPF personnel went out on regular patrolling on the Naugam bypass in Srinagar. Meanwhile, terrorists hiding in nearby fields attacked.

The jawans took up the front and retaliated. For five minutes, bullets were fired from both sides, after which the terrorists fled to save their lives. The soldiers chased the terrorists, but they did not touch hands.

Subsequently, a joint task force of CRPF, police, and army conducted a search operation in the areas surrounding the incident. Due to the terrorist attack, the movement of vehicles on the bypass remained closed for about two hours.

Meanwhile, two local militants Zahid Faruk Sheikh and Sharifuddin Ahangar of Al-Badr are arrested in Bommai, Sopore. They have also received two pouches, a pistol, some cartridges, and two grenades. Both these terrorists were involved in the murder of local resident Danish Manzoor Nazar alias Ishfaq Ahmed on June 6.

Both of them along with al-Badr’s district commander Gani Khwaja killed Danish. Gani Khwaja is absconding. Police are constantly raiding his hideout to catch him. Significantly, the international border (IB) continues with Pakistan’s terror.

After this, the BSF recovered the pipe. 62 kg of heroin, two Chinese pistols, four magazines, and a hundred cartridges were recovered in a six-inch thick and twenty feet long plastic pipe.
