Police said that their reliable sources informed about the sighting of some terrorists in the Dangwachi village of Sopore.

During the same operation, the security forces nabbed three active terrorists of Al-Badr. On the basis of interrogation, when they searched, arms and ammunition were also recovered from them.

A police officer said that a case has been registered in this regard and the three terrorists are being questioned.

Police said that the three arrested terrorists have been identified as Aamir Wani resident of Naupora Sopore, Tariq Ahmed Bhat resident of Handwara, and Waris Tantre resident Ravucha Rafiabad.

One AK-47, its magazine, three rounds of AK, two pistols, 37 rounds of pistol, two magazines, and Rs 2 lakh in cash were recovered from their possession.

Sources say that the police were on the lookout for these terrorists for a long time.

It is also being claimed that on the basis of interrogation, it is possible to arrest many terrorists and overground workers associated with the organization in the coming days.

Efforts will also be made to find out what was the responsibility assigned to these terrorists, due to which they were hiding in the area.

Two girls were injured by attacking them with a knife when they resisted the theft.
