More and more emphasis is being laid on vaccination in Telangana to combat Corona. Now a target has been set to vaccinate 3 lakh, people, daily in the state.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has directed the officials of the Health Department to conduct a special campaign against covid-19 and vaccinate three lakh, people, daily.

An official release issued on Sunday night said that although the spread of corona is under control, a special campaign of vaccination should be carried out so that people do not suffer due to the pandemic in the future.

Chief Minister Rao has directed the senior officials of the Medical and Health Department to conduct a special drive to vaccinate 3 lakh people daily to protect them from coronavirus in the state.

The officials of the Medical and Health Department brought to the notice of the CM that despite the opening of government and private educational institutions, the virus does not have much impact and there is no possibility of a rise in COVID-19 cases.

Officials told Rao that there are 2.80 crore people above the age of 18 in the state and they are eligible for vaccination.

So far, 1.42 crore people have been given the first dose of the vaccine, while 53 lakh have completed their second dose, and 1.38 crore people are yet to be vaccinated.

After this, the Chief Minister has also directed the concerned officials to use schools, colleges, and other government and private buildings as vaccination centers.

Mysuru gang-rape victim ready to record statement may record her statement before a magistrate

The Karnataka Police has convinced the Mysuru gang-rape victim to record her statement.

Sources said that the police officer probing the case met the victim at her Mumbai residence and got her ready to give a statement against the accused.

The authorities have given the victim the option that if she wants, she can also record her statement before the magistrate through video conferencing.

The incident of gang rape took place on August 24, when the girl, who had done her MBA, along with her male friend had shaken Chamundi Hills.

A gang of miscreants had kidnapped both of them and demanded extortion of three lakh rupees from them.

When the money was not received, the miscreants beat up the young man fiercely and gang-raped the girl. The police have arrested all the accused in the case from Tamil Nadu.
